Best Resin's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We appreciate you for choosing Best Resin for your modeling needs.
 We believe you deserve the
best quality product without question. (*)

Q: What is this "Resin" stuff anyway?

A: "Resin" is short for "Poly-Urethane Resin Compound". The resin as used by  Best Resin, is described as a 2-part chemical substance,
    1-a base
and,
2-a catalyst which when mixed together properly creates a reaction which transforms the liquid INTO a solid.
After a set time has passed, this mass cures into a hardened, plastic-like substance. It can then be drilled, shaped, sanded, puttied, primered and painted JUST Like Plastic.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: You can order from Best Resin online with Pay Pal. We also will be offering a printable order form for those wishing to send money orders. Orders will be shipped with-in 2 weeks for normal catalog items.  Special orders may take longer, we will let you know as quickly as possible via email or phone when they would be completed.. Q: Does Best Resin  have a return Policy?

A: Our products are made by hand, one at a time. We carefully check each piece for quality BUT we are only human and sometimes things may leave the lab that that shouldn't have. If you receive any item from Best Resin and you are unhappy with it please contact us at once. We will fix the problem, even if the item is damaged in shipping or assembly. Simply  contact us.

Q: How do I work with resin

A:          ALWAYS WEAR A DUST MASK WHEN SANDING, DRILLING OR FILING MOST RESIN PARTS!   HOWEVER, WITH BEST RESIN'S RESIN, IT IS FOOD GRADE AND IS NON TOXIC.  WE ONLY BUY THE BEST QUALITY PRODUCTS.

Parts cast in polyurethane
resin are done by hand from a flexible rubber mold. Resin CANNOT be glued with regular hobby/model cement. You must use super glue or 5 minute epoxy. Resin pieces may be drilled or sanded at any speed without fear of melting, but they are more brittle than styrene plastic, and will sand or grind more quickly. (*)  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email us.
